This past week was
great! I was able to fly out to New York City and be interviewed for an
internship. The internship was a three day process and a great was to meet the
firm. The firm I met with is KPMG. They tried to make me feel their firm was
the best firm to sign with.
In the accounting
world there are four firms many students go work at right after college. You
might have heard them as the Big Four. The four firms are KPMG, Price
Waterhouse Cooper, Ernst and Young, and Deloitte.
Flying out to interview
with KPMG I was pretty dead-set on going to KPMG after I graduate; However,
after this trip, my goals have sort of changed.
I feel I need to do
more research before I choose a firm to work for. I talked to my brother—he
recently worked for PWC—and he said he agreed with me.
I will have a few more
months before I decide who I should internship with, but I am sure through time
I will be able to find the right firm for me.
