With this post being my last I thought I would veer from my
normal posts about accounting and talk about legacies. With March Madness just
ending and the final games of the NBA series approaching, commercials have been
geared towards rallying fans behind their teams. But the most impactful
commercials are the ones rallying fans behind the NBA. One which impacted me
greatly plays “Live Forever” by Drew Holcomb while great NBA basketball players
of history’s past play with and against the current all-stars of the NBA.
The
legacies that these men left changed the game of basketball, as will the
current all-stars. What legacy will we leave? How will we change the game of
life we play in? A legacy is defined as a
thing handed down from a predecessor. My German grandfather left a legacy
of hard work. In my room hangs a picture of the company and home he built from
the ground up. This picture
reminds me of his legacy and encourages me to build my own legacy for my
posterity.
